If time had a garden, what would it look like? Time in geometric space can exist only by perpetually erasing itself. This is because time would have to perpetually hide within the solemnity of absolute space to be able to exist. In this sense, nature would be the medium that reveals time and imprints its existence within space. If time had a physical property, how would it be revealed? Here, time traverses space as it reveals itself in new forms. It proves its existence in the form of the shadows cast by light and the dimension created as the result of the sum of light and shadows. Amidst ever-changing nature, time unfolds itself across the garden in the form of a continuum of light and shadows. Both in the memories of the witnesses as they enter the time-scape, and in their minds upon confronting it, the garden demonstrates the temporality harbored by its space at that moment. As such, the Rooftop becomes a place that faithfully attests to the existence of time-time as something that esists not in one corner of a space, but as a continuum of moments.

시간에 정원이 있다면 그것은 어떠한 형체일까? 기하학적 공간 속 시간이란 자신을 무한히 소거함으로써만 존재할 수 있다. 그것은 절대 공간이 지닌 엄숙함 속에 자신을 무한히 숨겨야만 자신이 존재할 수 있기 때문일 것이다. 그러한 면에서 자연은 공간 속에 시간을 드러내 주고 그 존재를 각인하는 매개체 일 것이다. 만약 시간에 물성이 있다면 그것은 어떤 형태로 드러낼 것인가? 여기서 시간은 공간을 가로지르며 새로운 형제로 자신을 드러낸다. 시간은 빛에 의한 그림자로, 그것들 중합의 입체로 자신을 증명해 낸다. 자연의 무한한 변화 속에 시간은 빗과 그림자의 연속으로서 이곳 정원에 자신을 펼쳐낸다. 그것은 이곳을 마주한 사람의 기억 속에서나, 시간의 풍광과 마주친 관념 속에서 공간의 찰나가 지닌 시간성을 보여준다. 이곳은 공간의 한편에 존재하는 시간이 아닌 순간의 연속으로서 시간의 존재를 오롯이 보여주는 장소이다.
