대리석 그 자체는 시간적이면서도 초월적이지만, 표면 가공 방식에 따라 그 의미가 달라진다. 이곳의 목적은 스틸 브러시로 표면을 처리함으로써 대리석이 가진 시간적인 단계와 그 변화의 과정을 보여주는 것이었다.
''Marble-ing office’는 대지가 가진 모든 잠재적 활용도를 극대화한다. 전체 볼륨은 주차 공간을 최대한 확보하는 평면으로 구성되며, 지하 사무실로 향하는 선큰 가든과 지상에서 가장 넓은 사무 공간을 갖추고 있다. 남쪽 창문은 인접한 다세대 주택들을 고려해 대각선 방향으로 비스듬하게 설계되었고, 동쪽 창문은 교회 건물의 아름다운 풍경을 담아내기 위해 길고 넓게 제작되었다.

The marble itself is temporal and transcendent, but it differs in meaning according to its surface processing system. The aim here was to show the temporal stages of the marble and its metamorphic process by treating the surface with a steel brush.
The 'Marble-ing office’ maximizes all the potential use of the site. The entire volume consists of plans maximizing the parking space, with a sunken garden towards the underground office and the biggest office on the ground. Windows facing south were designed diagonally tapered for the southward multiplex houses, while the east-facing windows were made long and wide to capture the beautiful scenery of the church.
