[Seolhaeone Clubhouse Renovation] 

The remodeling of the Seolhaeone Clubhouse goes beyond a functional expansion, and represents an attempt to reinterpret the meaning of the “garden” that Seolhaeone requires. The garden is no longer merely a landscape element, but is expanded into an architectural device that restores the identity of the place. In architecture, the garden is not a traditional landscaped space, but an imaginative space filled with the texture of light. This garden harmonizes with Seolhaeone’s clear sky light and functions as a “corridor of light” that connects the newly added spaces. Light transforms flat architectural space into a three-dimensional experience, generating new spatial qualities through volumes of varying depth formed within the roof section. The light of the mountains and the sea is reborn here as an architectural texture.
